FITUEYES at IFA 2026: Making Room for Life, In Between

From September 4 to 8, 2026, FITUEYES returned to IFA Berlin for the third time. At Booth H22-105, our “IN BETWEEN” presentation brought television, music, furniture, and art into a shared space, exploring how technology can become a more natural part of everyday living. Over five days, those encounters gave a question about the home a more tangible form: when screens and sound find their place, what freedom can a room offer?

Making Room for Everyday Life

“MAKE TECHNOLOGY LIVABLE” was the starting point for our presentation. The position of a screen shapes the viewing experience. It also influences where furniture sits, how people connect, and how a room is used throughout the day. Designing audiovisual furniture means understanding those relationships.

The white setting and open space brought the outlines of furniture, the grain of wood, and the relationships between objects into focus. Equipment, storage, and artworks came together in scenes that invited visitors to imagine a way of living they would enjoy spending time in.

Across Home Cinema, Music Corner, and Living Space settings, the booth explored different ways of living with technology. The structure and materials of a TV stand helped a large screen sit comfortably within the proportions of an interior. A record player and vinyl storage gave music a corner worth spending time in. Previewed at the show, the Zen Pro Projector Media Console brought projection equipment and storage into a unified furniture design, suggesting new possibilities for moving between everyday living and watching a film.

Designs including Cantor RS also met visitors within these settings. We wanted people to imagine how a piece might enter their own home, sit alongside the furniture they already love, and accommodate their particular routines. This is where design finds its value: in the details of daily life.

Where Furniture Meets Sculpture

Our collaboration with sculptor Larisa Pitkevich brought another expression of “IN BETWEEN” to the exhibition. Placing handmade artworks alongside industrially designed furniture invited attention to move from the equipment to the objects themselves, and to how form and material shape the mood of a room.

Picasso RS was paired with Soul Music, connecting the unhurried experience of listening to vinyl with inner reflection. Eiffel met Need for Beauty, creating a dialogue between a supporting structure and an ascending sculptural form. Zen appeared alongside Gaia, bringing the warmth of wood into conversation with the artwork’s exploration of nature and our relationship with the environment.

Within these combinations, a music corner could hold sound, art, and time to oneself. Objects beside a television could enrich the life that happens beyond the screen. For FITUEYES, this is the meaning of bringing art into everyday life: giving us a reason to experience familiar spaces afresh.

Five Days of Conversation, an Exploration That Continues

Throughout the exhibition, we welcomed design enthusiasts, industry partners, and visitors from different parts of the world. Products and spaces became starting points for conversations, bringing our design thinking into contact with real experiences of living.

On our third visit to IFA, we continued to see each exchange as an opportunity to understand how people live. For users, furniture needs to respond to individual routines. For partners, complete settings help us explore together what audiovisual furniture can offer in different spaces. These encounters gave us further directions to consider as our work continues.

Thank you to everyone who stepped into the FITUEYES booth and shared their time and ideas with us. Our thanks also go to Larisa Pitkevich and all the partners who helped bring this presentation to life.

Our five days in Berlin have come to a close. Our exploration of how people live with technology continues. We look forward to returning with new designs and ideas, and discovering more possibilities for everyday life together when we meet again.
