I got the rotator because I have a small living room with a lot of windows and the only place that was suitable for a TV was a corner. I use the portrait art mode when it's idle, and when I want to watch tv, I roll out the tv and rotate it to landscape. The rotator works really well. It is sturdy, has a steady rotation, and stays in place once you rotate. It's made of high quality metal and it's very strong. The only thing I would improve is 1) maybe there's a way to preset how much it rotates so that I don't have to keep checking to see if the TV is levelled and 2) better instructions on how to mount the brackets to the rotator, and how it's used. Also if the instructions do not specify that you need to unscrew something, DO NOT unscrew things, even when the screw top matches the screwdriver. It took me a long time to figure out how everything works together, but once it did, it worked well!
